HISTORY

• 1980

Lucantonio Guarnieri, after his experience gained in automotive sector, found LEM a.u.p. with guarantee of orders for an important company which operates in the automotive sector (FIAT).

• 1987

thanks to the increase of the production, the LEM transformed in Elleci s.r.l.

• 1997

the activities continue to increase and with the change of business name was born SOCEA with which enlarges the offer also for the electrical cables fields for agricultural machineries.

• 2001

they acquired the certification of the quality management system ISO 9001:1994.

• 2005

they complete the realization the actual corporate headquarters of 10.000 mq of which 3800 covered.

• 2008

they update ISO 9001:1994 certification expressed by ISO 9001:2008 and acquired the environmental management certification ISO 14001:2004.

• 2010

SOCEA joins to GUARNIERI GROUP SRL.

• 2015

SOCEA launches a new 1,000 sqm production site in Romania, founding a new company (SOTRAN Srl), 100% owned by the Guarnieri group.

In SOTRAN part of the work is delocalised, but the technological and organizational structure is the same of SOCEA Italia.

• 2017

SOCEA acquires the ISO / TS 16949 certification (Quality management for the automotive sector).

• 2020

SOCEA offers its customers A rapid prototyping and 3D printing service through the new prototype office.

Socea has expanded its prototyping laboratory with 3D printing,

we can also work in co-design to make your prototypes.

PRODUCTION

Cutting

Cutting departments is the heart of the factory.

In this area work 4 Komax cut/ strip/crimping machines equipped of inkjet printers (black and white) and solder pots. Rubbers and terminals can be linked with the help of the automatic machines, and inserted in this phase. Each machine is supported by an aided unroal of wires which increases the efficiency and the productivity. The department has also 3 machines for the cutting of multipolar wires and/or of sections greater than 10 mq. Each type of conductor is processed and is able to meet the need of the customers.

CRUMPING

The crumping with manual transfer takes place in a department with 8 presses in which work specialised laborers with decades of experience in the task.

Where the automatic check is not available, the self control and the experience of the worker can identify, preventing and correcting the possible failures; lower down the official tests and of quality and production welfare managers. The department has a warehouse for the storage of the headers, pads and small applicators: in this way maximize the movements and set-up time.

ULTRASONIC

The joints by welding, in general, as in the field of electrical wiring, have to be clean, trusted, strong and consistent with the processing on the whole. One the technique which respect further this concept is the ultrasonic welding, it’s, without doubt, the cleanest, very specific and causes neither direct damage, neither major fault to the product, at the same time it gives the necessary reliability required on the electrical wiring regulations.

Socea has 3 work stations, for ultrasonic welding technology and they realize connections from 0,35 mmq to 40 mmq. The quality product is provided by the welding work stations which work in self-learning, from supervision of the process and the processing tests.

ASSEMBLING

The assembling department makes this company run.

The operators are supported by the other departments, avoiding the materials shortfall. A section of this department is set up to realize prototype by sampling. In synergy the quality managers and the technical office, they produce the workings that the customer value before starting the series production.

Part of the assembling process, according to the needs and the customer’s requires, is made by external groups settled in Italy or also Romania. All the external groups meet the needs and decisions of the directive SOCEA, they are constantly monitored by Socea’ s operators providing and pointing out the records and transactions carried out. This type of organization shall ensure the maximum flexibility for the delivery time.

TESTING

The testing department has 4 work stations for test equipped at 100% for electrical tests of uninterruptible power, electrical measurement, checking the diodes, relay functionality, and complex equipments more or less functionalities. It also provides of equipments and mobile benches used for leakage tests (Vacuum test) if necessary.

The systems and testing directives are defined and agreed with the costumer, ordinarily (if not specify) SOCEA products don’t reach the shipping department if they won’t pass the basic functions tests at 100%.

According to costumer’s needs, Socea is able to realize all the electrical / functional tests.

Quality monitoring

Each productive process, prepared by Socea, must follow a specific monitoring procedure which shall determine the method of preparation, realization, monitoring, packaging and shipping of the orders.

This last one is always developed after its takeover, to take particular care to provide information to the costumer about the timetables necessary to achieve them, also on the basis of the work already present on the productive lines.

Once the order starts, it is assigned to the production process with its necessary documents to clarify and unifying the working information. The working process is constantly monitored in time and quantity, thanks also to information systems set on the line. Thanks to this approach it is possible monitoring, valuing and providing in real time about the information on the outstanding production.

All phases are qualified with monitoring during the processes, whether it is dimensional or visual.

The climbing and the welding shall be valid through the use of dynamometer (a vacuum-decay leak test) and the micrometer (to verify its height and then the right implementing). All the information are recorded and stocked.

All the products are realized in accordance with the quality check standard for this specific relevant field ISO 9001 and IATF16949.

The electrical testing makes i possible to ensure the costumer a wiring without reverse polarity protection and output short circuit. The final deliberation allows a further check on the ready and tested batches, validating further their right realization (through product audit) and preparing for the shipping by following the costumer’s instructions during the acquisition of the order.
